A VALUES BASED PROGRAM FOR DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN!

Karina and Ian Stephens have developed a ‘Lifeskills and Values’ based program for primary school aged children.

Programs kits include:

  • Teachers Guide including detailed instructions on sessions and classroom activities
  • 1 x set of colour stories featuring the lifeskills
  • Up to 25 student colouring books based on the characters of the program
  • Up to 25 sets of Faber Castel Colour textor sets

This is subject to change depending on funding and available resources.

Ian and Karina are professional trainers and speakers who donate their time to training the teaching staff to run the program. Corporate clients donate to the cause and literally funds the program into developing country schools.

Content overview:

The program is based on a series of short stories which introduce 7 Values-based lifeskills. Example: Students get introduced to Listwic the Elephant who has two heart shaped ears and teaches us to LISten TWICe as much as we speak.

Outcomes:

  • Classroom management disciplines
  • Developing children with a positive self image and self worth
  • Equipping children with the essential lifeskills.

Curriculum:

The content of the program has been designed in consultation with an Australian primary school principal and tailored to deliver on the social values component of the Australian primary school curriculum. It has also been designed to provide teachers with a complete package which does not require any additional photocopying or reproduction.

If you know of a school that may be interested in this program or would like to know more then please email Karina Stephens.

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those who are perishing. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless and see they get justice.

IMAGINE A WORLD

Craig Anthony Harper

Imagine a world where people chose to work on their own weaknesses and faults rather than trying to fix everyone else. There would be no criticism, no resentment, no animosity, no hatred, no killing and no war.

Imagine a world where people would genuinely listen to others and thoughtfully consider what they said, rather than waiting for their own chance to be heard.

Imagine a world where people’s priority was to make others feel great, rather than themselves look good.

Imagine a world where people were more concerned with being righteous than with being right.

Imagine a world where people did nice things for other people with no agenda.

Imagine a world where people didn’t judge, blame, manipulate, accuse, intimidate, control or hurt others.

Imagine a world where people understood that wealth is not about money or possessions; but about fulfilment, contentment, inner peace, love and eternity; a world that understood that real wealth is not about what we can get but what we can give; a world that understood that sometimes the most destitute people live in the biggest houses.

Imagine a world where people resolved their differences by communicating and understanding rather than fighting and killing.

Imagine a world where tiny children in far away places didn’t starve while we continued to get richer, fatter and more dysfunctional about our trivial problems. Imagine a world where the rich, fat people cared enough to interrupt their busy, important lives to notice the starving, the homeless, the dying and the needy… and to actually do something about it.

Imagine a world where we all took responsibility and stopped waiting for someone else to fix humanity

Imagine a world where all the fighting had stopped, all the hatred was gone, and all the tears had turned into laughter.

What would we do then?
